Gold radiance paints the sky over Piaynemo and Misool shades of flaming red and fire orange.  While Piaynemo is all about the views which have come to epitomize Raja Ampat, the laid-back island of Pulau Andau in the southern part of the Fam islands is home to talcum powder soft beaches which dazzle the eye, lapped by crystalline aqua-emerald waters so transparent you’d be forgiven to think you were looking through clear glass.  One of those quintessentially Raja Ampat sights is the Dafalen “Love Lagoon” – a striking heart shaped pool framed by sheer cliffs, climbing up which reveals the sensational view below.    The screensaver worthy Balbulol Lagoon features towers of rock rising straight out of tantalizing teal and turquoise waters below.  A peek underwater reveals a profusion of healthy coral, home to a couple of clownfish decked out in their unmistakable orange garb.
