A spider weaves its silky web which spans an opening in the lush rainforest that provides a window into the soul of the meandering Daintree River as it winds its way to the Coral Sea while conjuring up mesmerizing tropical visions around every bend.  Further offshore, lapped by radiant waters rises the magnificent Lizard Island Group which lies within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, showcasing arcs of glittering white sand which stretch along dazzling aquamarine bays.   The unmistakable headland of Cape Tribulation juts out into the deep blue, flanked by its namesake beach on one side and Myall Beach on the other with Great Barrier islands and reefs decorating the Coral Sea, including Green Island, just a short boat ride out of Cairns.  South of the Daintree, Mossman Gorge features gentle cascades, sculpted rocks, and a dose of serenity.
